Staff and Pre-School Committee 

All staff are CPR and First Aid trained.

Director:  Ms. Carrie has been a part of the PreSchool for several years as Director and on the governing board as Parent Representative and Treasurer. Carrie has her BA in psychology with a behavior management emphasis and a minor in social work.  She has worked with children and adults with disabilities for 15 years and enjoys ministering to the pre-school children of Prosperity.  Carrie has been a member of Prosperity Presbyterian Church for 6 years.  Her 2 school age children went through the pre-school and she currently has her youngest in the program. 

Readiness Class (3 days/week):  Mrs. Pati has taught pre-school for 18 years and has training in pre-school development.  She also served as director of a local pre-school.  She earned her degree from Bryant and Straton as a dental assistant and has been trained as a crisis pregnancy counselor.  She is the mother of 2 terrific sons and grandmother of 2 awesome grandchildren! 

Readiness Class (4 days/week):  Mrs. Kris earned her degree in Aviation from Ohio State University.  She has lived in Charlotte for 13 years with her husband and 3 wonderful school age children.  Kris has taught at PPCP for 7 years.  Kris’ youngest son also attended the pre-school. 

Intermediate Class (3 days/week):  Ms. Cathee is a native charlottean and has attended Prosperity Presbyterian Church since 1974. She has a BS degree from UNCG as well as teaching certificates for K-6 and taught in CMS and Gaston County (general science). She has extensive veterinary emergency experience and wildlife rehabilitation. Her hobbies include floral design. She has one grown daughter

Intermediate Class (4 days/week):  Mrs. Chris has taught Preschool at PPCP for 4 years and has training in childhood development. She is a mother of three wonderful girls, two are in college, her oldest is at UNCC, the other is at UNCG and her youngest is in elementary school. Christina is active in her church and community. When not teaching preschool, Christina is decorating and has a business as a decorator.

Beginner’s Class:  Mrs. Isabelle has just permanently joined our team as a teacher.  She has worked as an aide and substituted for the school last year.  Isabelle has her BA in Sociology and Masters in Political Science.  She has 3 sons, her middle who attended Prosperity Preschool and her youngest who currently attends the PreSchool!   

Aide:  Mrs. Carol has lived in Charlotte for 15 years.  She has been an aide for Prosperity pre-school for 12 years since her youngest attended pre-school here.  She lives in Highland Creek with her husband, Scott and two children; Adrianna (19) and Dalton (17). 

Aide:  Mrs. Diana moved to Charlotte from Ohio in Feb 2003 and has enjoyed living in the Highland Creek community with her husband Jeff and 3 children; the 2 older children who graduated from PPCP and her youngest currently attends PPCP.  Diana enjoys volunteering with the PTA @ Highland Creek and other community organizations.

Aide:  Mrs. Jenna has 4 children, one of which has attended preschool here at PPCP.  She has attended church at Prosperity for 13 years.  She grew up in Ohio, and now lives in Charlotte with her husband of 9 years.

The Pre-School committee is the school’s governing board.  The members of the committee include:
